Gregory J. Zuraw

Gregory J. Zuraw, 76, of Donora, passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2026. Born in North Charleroi on April 15, 1949, Greg was the son of the late Alexander and Helen (Majoris) Zuraw.

A graduate of Donora High School class of 1967, Greg enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his nation honorably. He was deployed in Vietnam, served in various squadrons and on aircraft carriers including the USS Enterprise, USS Kitty Hawk and the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. He traveled and saw the world until his 22 year retirement.

Greg enjoyed listening to oldies, grilling on his deck and enjoying a nice cold beer especially after a long day of yardwork, of which he took great pride in being a repeated “Yard of the Week” winner. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed dearly.

Surviving to cherish Greg’s memory; his daughter Samantha (Brandon) Huseman and his son Brandon (Kirstie) Zuraw. His sister Laraine (Ron) McGinnis and brother Daniel (Terri) Zuraw. His grandchildren Isaac Huseman, Barrett Stark and several nieces and nephews and of course his dog Max.

In addition to his parents, Greg is preceded in death by his significant other Wendy Kister and his sister Donna Minor.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday February 12th, 2026 from 3:00 to 5:00pm at which time full Military Honors will be conducted at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022.
